MORGAN

My name is Morgan McKnight and I’m a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) based in Atlanta, Georgia. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate the complexities of life, emotional struggles, and personal growth. I specialize in working with clients facing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. I have experience working with a diverse range of individuals, including adolescents, young adults, and people from various cultural backgrounds. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, work stress, burnout, life transitions, self-esteem, body image, and interpersonal relationships. I am particularly dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate social pressures, identity formation, emotional abuse, childhood trauma, and self-sabotaging behaviors.

I offer a compassionate and supportive approach to therapy, providing a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions and experiences. Building trust is at the core of my work, and I aim to create an environment where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to take charge of their healing journey. I use an integrated therapeutic approach, drawing from Strength-Based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). By tailoring therapy to each client's unique needs, I strive to help individuals reframe negative patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and foster resilience.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative, transformative process. My role is to guide and challenge clients, helping them develop the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges and move toward a more fulfilling life. I view clients as experts of their own lives and work with them to explore their feelings, challenges, and aspirations. Above all, I am committed to supporting each client in their journey toward healing, empowerment, and self-compassion. If you're looking for a compassionate, trustworthy therapist to support you through your journey, I would be honored to work with you.
